The year of a Sangh

Six chapters, one ledger.

We have grouped what the app does the way a trustee thinks about the year, not the way a menu is organised.

  1. 01 / 06સંઘની ગોઠવણ

    Set up your Sangh

    Create the Sangh and the usual khatas are ready for you: સર્વ સાધારણ, દેવ દ્રવ્ય, જીવદયા, વૈયાવચ, આંગી, સંઘ પૂજન. Set the membership fee, the mun rate and the yearly cycle. Add trustees, admins and volunteers, each with exactly the rights they need.

  2. 02 / 06સભ્યો અને પરિવાર

    Members and families

    Members with their family under them, membership numbers and yearly plans. Renew everyone whose plan has ended in one click. Add a new member from any desk screen. Members log in to the app with a WhatsApp code.

  3. 03 / 06પ્રસંગો

    Events and the days in them

    Paryushan, Oli, or any event you set up once and reuse. Each day has its own attendance count or fixed rate, a daily schedule, a gallery and a notice board of pledges. Events move from upcoming to active to completed on their own.

    Collections, the Sangh way

    Chadhavo bids for each item. Supan ni boli in mun, with the rupee value shown beside it. Aangi booked day by day. Sangh Pujan pledged per person and multiplied by the day's attendance. Every pledge becomes one line in the ledger: pending, received or on hold.

  5. 05 / 06હિસાબ

    Money in, money out

    The credit desk takes cash, cheque or online payment against any pending line, for one family or many at once. Cash a volunteer collects goes into their wallet first, then is handed over to the Sangh with a record. Every rupee has a transaction. Every transaction has a trail.

  6. 06 / 06રિપોર્ટ

    Know where you stand

    Pick any member and see everything the family owes across every khata. Print a slip in three languages with the bank details on it. Families with dues, this year against last year, expenses, activity log. Every report as PDF and Excel.

Three things a register could never do

Kept the way the Sangh keeps it.

Bids are called in mun. So the app takes them in mun.

Nothing is turned into accountant's language at the desk. Each kind of pledge is entered the way it is spoken, and the maths is done beside it.

    સુપન ની બોલીin mun, rupees beside it

    Type the bid as it was called. The rupee value is worked out at your Sangh's rate and saved with it.

    આંગીby the day, at that day's rate

    Pick the day. The rate is already set: ₹101 on a normal day, ₹201 on a big one.

  3. 3

    સંઘ પૂજનper person, times the attendance

    ₹5 a head for 1,250 people present. If the count is corrected later, the pledge updates itself.

Every rupee accounted for.

A payment never changes a record in place. It passes through five stages and leaves a record at each one, so a treasurer can follow any rupee from the pledge to the log.
